Every shipped display case is carefully inspected, protected and secured inside a purpose-built crate before leaving our facility.

Discuss Your Project

Beyond Manufacturing

Manufacturing is only part of the responsibility. The product must also arrive ready for its intended space.

6 Sigma Interiors coordinates the preparation, custom crating and freight requirements of approved display-case orders shipped throughout Canada and the United States. Each order is packed according to its own dimensions, glass configuration and hardware.

Behind the Process

Follow the process from final inspection through protection, crate construction, packing and freight preparation.

From Inspection to Freight

How We Crate and Ship Your Display Case

Final Inspection

Before packing begins, the completed display case and applicable components are reviewed against the approved project specifications.

Component Preparation

Shelves, doors, hardware, lighting components and other removable items are identified and prepared according to the requirements of the individual display case. Not every component is removed on every order — the procedure depends on the project.

Surface Protection

Glass surfaces, finished edges and vulnerable areas are protected before the product is placed into its shipping structure.

Purpose-Built Crate

A wooden crate is constructed around the dimensions and configuration of the finished product rather than relying on generic packaging.

Internal Securing

The display case and separately packed components are positioned and secured to reduce movement during normal freight handling.

Closure and Labelling

The crate is closed, checked and marked with the applicable identification, handling and orientation information.

Freight Coordination

Shipment information, destination details and applicable freight documentation are prepared before the crate is released for pickup.
